Day Trips:
Bus Trips are held on Saturdays. The bus will leave from the Yankee Trails Bus Terminal in Rensselaer at 7:30 AM with stops at Exit 8 and Exit 20 if we are going that way.
Directions to Yankee Trails:
I-90 East to Exit 8. Right at 2nd light (Route 4). Go 7/10 mile to 2nd light. Right at light. Go 3/10 mile to Yankee Trails on the right. Park in the rear of the lot. There is no fee for parking; it is safe to park and leave your vehicle.
Proposed ski dates for this year:
March 7th or 14th - Optional if the 1st 3 bus trips are well attended. Club Members can participate in picking where they would like a 5th trip at the February 11th meeting. If we get around 30 paying members in February, we will schedule the bus.
Bus Fees: Adult $15, 17 years & under $7.50. This change is to make it more affordable for families. Guests cannot participate in more than 2 trips without becoming a member.
Please check the Hotline - Ph 489-2275 or website for news on actual bus trip destinations the night before the trip. Changing snow conditions may make it necessary to go to a backup location if the scheduled area doesn't have snow.
Policy for Bus Trips:
1. Payment for trips must be made at the time you sign-up.
If reservations are made over the telephone through the trip coordinator, payment must be received within one week of the call. After that, your name goes on the waiting list.
2. No refunds for any reason!
There is only one exception to this rule: Money will be refunded or moved forward to another trip if you are medically unfit to go (doctor sez) or you have a death in the immediate family.
3. There are no substitutions.
All assignments are made through the trip coordinator. In other words, if you cancel, you cannot find your own replacement.
4. Fares per person do not include trail fees.
